Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician in Albuquerque, NM to install, commission, and service BAS and HVAC controls. You will lead onsite efforts, mentor technicians, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, programming and configuring DDC systems (Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI), knowledge of BACnet/Modbus/LonWorks, and a US citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

Must have 3+ years experience in HVAC controls and BAS technologies.
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DoD secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of BAS/HVAC controls.
Provide direction and mentorship to junior technicians and subcontractors.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of HVAC controls systems.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, customers, and trades to meet schedules.
Identify system optimization opportunities to improve energy efficiency and building performance.
Ensure proper documentation and as-built drawings per Honeywell standards.
Adhere to Honeywell safety protocols and site requirements.
