Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Sr Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician to provide on-site service and support for HVAC control systems. You will work from Acton, MA on a Hybrid schedule, with 100% travel and on-call rotations every 6–8 weeks, supported by a company vehicle and equipment.

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and programming of Honeywell BAS platforms and related networks, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and BAS technologies.
• Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC control issues.
• 1–2 years of experience with programming/configuring HVAC control systems (DDC).

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation, commissioning, and service of HVAC BAS equipment.
• Provide technical support during projects, coordinating with technicians, subcontractors and customers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve HVAC control issues across VAVs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, sensors and networks.
• Program and commission Honeywell platforms such as Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI, and Niagara-based systems.
• Interpret drawings and sequences of operation to validate system functionality and integration.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain schedules and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and building performance.
• Ensure proper documentation and as-built drawings per Honeywell standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and customer site requirements.
