Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC/Controls technician to install, commission, and service equipment at customer sites across the United States. This role emphasizes safety, hands-on troubleshooting, and end-to-end project support.

You will document verification, maintain customer satisfaction, and collaborate with team leads while benefiting from day-one health insurance, 401(k) match, tuition assistance, and a dynamic benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to operate handheld devices for field data collection.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with clean record within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, set up graphics, establish communications link, perform end-to-end testing, troubleshoot and service on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close-out requirements.
• Serve as the direct customer contact; diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.
