Job summary

Trane Technologies, a field-based role, seeks an HVAC/Controls technician to commission, program, test, and service systems at customer sites. You will document verification and coordination with customers to ensure installations meet requirements.

The position requires a high school diploma and typically 7+ years in HVAC/controls, with preferred technical training and proficiency in MS Office and handheld devices. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically at least 7 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, programming, and end-to-end testing on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification and sequence of operations validation.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service products/equipment on site.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation requirements.
• Stay current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
