Job summary

ENFRA LLC seeks a skilled HVAC Controls Specialist II to join our Technical Services team. You will evaluate, program, optimize, and test building systems, on-site or remotely, focusing on RCx and new construction commissioning with a solutions-based mindset.

You will collaborate with construction management, facilities, engineers, and trade partners to deliver energy conservation measures and project outcomes while documenting progress and maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC, energy management, building automation or related field.
7+ years of commissioning or related field experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Attention to safety.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned duties in accordance with ENFRA policies, procedures, safety guidelines.
Document, collaborate, and communicate with project delivery team and manager.
Execute and complete tasks and deliverables in a timely manner.
Participate in site surveys, documentation reviews, and due diligence to determine facility conditions.
Review design and submittals of new construction scope as part of commissioning.
Utilize CxAlloy software to document commissioning scopes.
Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests in CxAlloy.
Develop technical reports and project observations for progress and system operation.
Implement energy conservation measures independently or with partners.
Oversee and execute functional performance tests at construction scope acceptance.
