Job summary

ENFRA LLC seeks an HVAC Controls Specialist II to join the Technical Services team. This role focuses on evaluating, programming, optimizing, and testing building systems on-site or remotely to deliver retro-commissioning and new construction commissioning outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with project delivery teams, develop tests in CxAlloy, and document energy conservation measures while upholding ENFRA core values and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent, in HVAC, Energy Management, Building Automation or related technical field.
• +7 years of commissioning or related field experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with minimal or limited information
• Self directed or able to work with limited direction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competency with Cloud Based commissioning software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per ENFRA policies and safety guidelines.
• Document and communicate activities and issues to project team.
• Execute tasks and deliverables in a timely manner.
• Participate in site surveys and due diligence for energy measures.
• Participate in design and submittal reviews for RCx and Cx.
• Utilize CxAlloy to document commissioning scopes.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional tests in CxAlloy.
• Produce technical reports and project observations for the team.
• Implement energy conservation measures independently or with the team.
• Review and verify pre-functional checklists against site conditions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize building system programming.
• Coordinate with team and trade partners; document outcomes.
• Maintain awareness of energy performance and targets.
• Escalate issues as needed and adhere to SOPs.
• Uphold ENFRA core values.
