Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an HVAC Controls Specialist II to join our Technical Services team. You will evaluate, program, optimize, and test building systems on-site or remotely, focusing on retro-commissioning and new construction commissioning with a solutions-driven approach.

You will collaborate with project delivery teams including construction management, facilities, engineers, and trade partners to achieve energy-efficient project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in HVAC, Energy Management, Building Automation or related technical field.
• +7 years commissioning or related field experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with minimal information and direction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competency with Cloud Based commissioning software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per ENFRA policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Document, collaborate, and communicate with project team regularly.
• Execute tasks and deliverables on time.
• Participate in site surveys and due diligence to determine facility conditions.
• Collaborate in design/submittal reviews for commissioning scope.
• Utilize CxAlloy to document commissioning scopes.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional tests in CxAlloy.
• Prepare technical reports and project observations for team.
• Implement energy conservation measures independently or with partners.
• Review pre-functional checklists against site conditions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize building system programming.
• Troubleshoot building system integration and networking issues.
• Use test instruments to verify system operation.
• Oversee functional performance tests for construction scope acceptance.
• Provide on-site supervision of trade partners and sub consultants.
• Document performance targets and energy conservation outcomes.
