Job summary

ENFRA LLC seeks an HVAC Controls Specialist I to join the Technical Services team. You will evaluate, program, optimize, and test building systems on-site or remotely, focusing on RCx and Cx scopes. The role requires independent work with technical guidance and clear documentation for project delivery.

You will produce energy-conscious outcomes, develop functional tests, and collaborate with facilities staff and partners to document and archive work. Travel is 40-60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC, Energy Management or building automation.
• 5+ years of commissioning experience with mechanical/electrical/building automation systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with limited information and direction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competency with cloud-based commissioning software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Follow ENFRA policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Document, communicate, and collaborate with project teams and managers.
• Complete tasks and deliverables on time.
• Support site surveys, reviews and due diligence for energy measures.
• Contribute to design/submittal reviews for commissioning.
• Utilize CxAlloy or similar tools for documentation and testing.
• Develop checklists and functional tests; write technical reports.
