Job summary

Responsibilities include providing technical expertise for HVAC system applications, collaborating with engineering teams, authoring guides, presenting topics, and supporting field trials and customer deployments. Occasional travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; extensive field experience may substitute.
• 8+ years in building automation or HVAC controls.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC controls project fulfillment from handoff through turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for HVAC system applications and integration with third-party systems.
• Monitor industry trends to inform feature roadmaps.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate feasibility and resolve issues.
• Support field office sales and operations with commercialization guidance.
• Author and review engineering bulletins, guides, and best practices.
• Present technical topics to internal and external audiences.
• Participate in customer visits and field events.
• Direct support of critical customer projects including on-site work.
• Capture Voice of the Customer to inform needs and translate into requirements.
• Define scope and requirements for next-generation HVAC applications.
• Design and deploy system-level applications and control logic.
• Develop testing strategies using modeling, simulation, and HIL testing.
• Support trials, pilot deployments, and site rollouts.
