Job summary

DynaTen Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer to translate customer requirements into coordinated building automation designs, submittals, and execution plans. You will program DDC systems for new and retrofit projects and generate commissioning documentation.

This role reports to the Senior Controls Manager and requires strong knowledge of HVAC controls, system layouts, and field integration with various protocols.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in building automation or HVAC controls
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical plans and specs
• Proficiency with MS Office and design/submittal software

Responsibilities

• Receives project specs and designs building automation system and service jobs
• Programs building automation systems for new construction, retrofit, or service
• Produces submittals, BOMs, and sequencing of operation documents
• Generates DDC point databases and programming code for field controllers
• Coordinates with project teams and provides startup/commissioning documentation
