Job summary

Air Control of Lexington is seeking a Commercial Estimator to prepare accurate, complete, and competitive commercial HVAC project estimates and proposals. You will build strong client relationships, manage take-offs, coordinate with installation teams, and help win contracts.

You will review plans, specs, and bid packages, present proposals to clients, negotiate terms, and track submittals with vendors. Local travel and growth await in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Read and analyze HVAC specs, blueprints, CAD drawings, and bid packages.
• Understand commercial codes, permits, and standard HVAC installation procedures.
• Proven track record building commercial client relationships and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, blueprints, CAD drawings, and bid packages to itemize take-offs and compile proposals.
• Present project proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales with commercial clients.
• Solicit vendor quotes, request submittals, and track project documentation.
• Work with the Sales Manager and Installation Team to outline timelines and billing opportunities.
• Help implement new estimating software tools to increase proposal speed and accuracy.
• Establish customer rapport and expand local market presence for long-term contracts.
