Job summary

Reliable Ducts Heating & Cooling, based in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring a Commercial HVAC Estimator to focus on multifamily apartment developments. The role involves reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and preparing competitive bids for construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HVAC systems, estimating, and project documentation, with strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth within a growing,

Qualifications

Experience in HVAC estimating or multifamily construction is strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints and specifications.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Excel and estimating/project management software.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints, mechanical plans, specifications, scopes of work, and other project documents.
Perform accurate HVAC material, equipment, and labor takeoffs.
Develop detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and costs.
Prepare professional, accurate, and competitive bids and proposals.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and customers for pricing and scope.
Maintain organized estimating documentation and cost reports.
