Job summary

Silver State Refrigeration & HVAC in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Commercial Dispatcher to coordinate and dispatch service technicians to job sites. The role focuses on timely service delivery, high customer satisfaction, and efficient technician scheduling.

You will schedule calls, monitor real-time status, communicate with customers and teams via phone, email, and text, and ensure accurate logging of work orders, parts, and services. Some overtime may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC/refrigeration.
• HVAC/refrigeration knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional in emails, calls and texts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign service calls to technicians based on priority, location, and skill set.
• Monitor real-time job status and adjust assignments as necessary.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on arrival times and progress.
• Communicate with customers, technicians and internal teams via phone, email and text for clear information exchange.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints and special requests professionally.
• Use dispatch software or manual systems to track job details and status.
• Ensure all work orders, parts and services are logged accurately.
• Provide technicians with job information including equipment details and history.
• Ensure timely arrival of technicians and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Prioritize emergency or high-urgency jobs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with warehouse/parts to ensure materials or tools.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Maintain knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration and cooking systems.
• Maintain reliable attendance for smooth dispatch operations.
• Protect sensitive information and share only with authorized individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.
