Job summary

Ideal Services in Holly Springs, NC is seeking a Comfort Consultant to assist residential and light commercial customers in selecting comfort and efficiency upgrades for existing HVAC systems.

You’ll meet with clients to assess needs, present replacement and upgrade options, educate on performance and energy efficiency, and build detailed proposals to close sales with integrity—while coordinating with installation teams and documenting activity.

Qualifications

• Sales or comfort consulting experience in HVAC or home services (preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly way.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residential and light commercial customers to assess comfort needs.
• Present system replacement, upgrade, and comfort improvement options.
• Educate customers on efficiency, indoor air quality, and system performance.
• Build detailed proposals and close sales with honesty and professionalism.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
• Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth job execution.
• Accurately document sales activity and customer information.
• Represent Ideal with professionalism and integrity.
• Perform in-home and on-site evaluations of existing HVAC systems.
