Job summary

Trane in Fishers, Indiana is hiring a Sales Specialist to support contractors, systems sales engineers, and estimators. Under direct supervision, you will handle routine project documentation, materials, status monitoring, and administrative closeout, with a solid grasp of financial information.

You will issue and reconcile purchase orders, maintain communication with customers and team members, and help manage project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology with a minimum of three years' experience; or equivalent combination.
• Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products; familiarity with Energy Management Systems, HVAC systems and/or temperature controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales process with general administrative functions.
• Issue and reconcile purchase orders and manage supplier communications.
• Process documents for service claims, retrofits, and labor warranties.
• Coordinate with customers and teams on project status and schedules.
• Monitor project budget and forecast cost at completion.
