Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support Residential and ducted HVAC systems, air cooled and water cooled chillers, AHUs or RTUs. A company vehicle, tools and uniforms are provided, along with factory certification through the STA.

We offer incentive programs and a strong safety culture. Travel up to 20% may be required to support startup, commissioning and aftermarket service. EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' practical experience with residential/ducted HVAC systems.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers components.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% for startup and service.
• Pass a knowledge exam to assess proficiencies.
• Eligible for STA training and career development.
• Must write and communicate clearly with customers about issues and actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level service to solve facility inefficiencies and commissioning needs.
• Offer quotes to customers for recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics to complete assignments.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks.
