Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician II to handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and maintain community upkeep. HVAC certification and routine repair know-how are required for this on-site role in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA/HVAC certification required; CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status for move-in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
• Promote good relations with residents and staff; uphold LIVE IT culture.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
• Complete special projects as needed.
