Job summary

Harthall Hotel in Nashville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and public areas in pristine condition, performing general repairs, HVAC upkeep, and routine preventative maintenance. You will troubleshoot issues, support housekeeping as needed, and respond to work orders with urgency and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have HVAC certification, are able to lift 50–100 lbs, and can work on-call with some weekends.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs, performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with housekeeping duties as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the building exterior and responding to work orders and service calls to guest rooms in a timely manner

• Prior maintenance experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall PTAC units and electrical systems
• HVAC certification required
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is also a plus
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Must be able to lift and move objects 50 lbs up to 100 lbs
• Schedule flexibility including weekends, and holidays
• Work independently
• Strong work ethic

Hourly compensation ranges between $32.00-$34.00 based on experience
