Job summary

Courtyard Boston Marlborough is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep across the hotel. You will assist with housekeeping duties as needed and help ensure guest rooms and common areas meet Five-Star standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining building exterior, and responding to service calls promptly. Strong HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems knowledge is preferred; must lift up to 100 lbs and be available on

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, read/write/speak fluently.
• Must be able to lift/move objects 50–100 lbs.
• Schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays.
• Work independently with a strong work ethic.

In this role you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs, performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with housekeeping duties as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the building exterior and responding to work orders and service calls to guest rooms in a timely manner

• Prior maintenance experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career.
