Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair apartment homes and property facilities in our Atlanta-area communities. You will diagnose and fix HVAC systems, appliances, electrical fixtures, plumbing, and locks, while following a preventative maintenance schedule and communicating with residents after repairs.

Qualifications include HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repairs as needed.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs.
