Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC controls engineer in New Jersey to design, configure, and commission building control systems. You will work with field teams to ensure quality and timely delivery, develop software, and provide detailed submittals to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications
- Associate or Technical degree with 3 years of HVAC controls experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC industry and building automation systems.
- Experience integrating low voltage subsystems and various protocols.
- Strong CAD skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems for HVAC.
- Develop software; commission and troubleshoot building controls.
- Provide submittals and communicate design to customers and teams.
- Create drawings, sequences of operations, and materials lists.
- Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals.
- Track project progress using dashboards and provide site training.
