Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring for an HVAC/building automation specialist responsible for design, configuration, and operation of complete building control systems including fire, security, and other subsystems. You will develop software, communicate design intent, and support field teams to ensure project success.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC controls, drafting tools, and cross-system integration, with travel to sites as needed and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical degree required; three years of related technical experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry, building automation, and sub-system integration.
• Experience with design, installation, and commissioning of building control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems (fire, security, lighting, nurse call, data networks).
• Develop software programs and commissioning procedures for proper operation of building controls.
• Provide submittals, drawings, and schedules; coordinate with field teams and subcontractors.
• Travel to job sites as required and support project teams throughout execution.
