Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems in the Atlanta area. The role covers fire, security and other low-voltage subsystems, with accountability to field teams for quality and schedule.

You will develop software and provide submittals for customers and subcontractors, ensuring proper operation. Candidates should have an Associate/Technical degree and 3+ years in HVAC controls, including design and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree with 3+ years of relevant HVAC controls experience.
• Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience integrating low voltage subsystems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate building control systems (fire, security, low voltage subsystems).
• Ensure design quality, timeliness, and efficiency for field teams.
• Develop software programs for system operation and commissioning.
• Provide submittals and communication to customers and installation teams.
• Assist with site training and project coordination.
