Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Branch Sales Representative for the Baton Rouge (and Lafayette) area to grow sales across our HVAC product lines. You will manage an assigned account list, build relationships, and leverage promotions and technology to win business.

Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager, you’ll develop customer profiles, identify growth opportunities, and mentor less experienced staff. Travel may be required for training and meetings.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required.
• One (1) year of customer sales and customer service experience required or preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales potential by developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Create and maintain detailed customer profiles.
• Identify growth opportunities for assigned and new accounts.
• Assist Branch Sales Associates on opportunities as needed.
• Leverage monthly/seasonal promotions for assigned accounts.
• Participate in account reviews for assigned customer lists.
• Provide input to Wholesale and Product Management on stocked products and levels.
• Mentor Branch Sales Associates on sales skills.
• Provide superior customer service to external and internal customers.
• Learn and utilize internal industry-leading technology offerings.
• Stay current on sales training and continued learning.
• Recruiting: grow the account list.
