Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, Pearl, MS, is seeking a Branch Sales Associate to serve HVAC/R professionals and contractors with expert product knowledge and outstanding customer service. You will greet customers, process orders, and help manage inventory and warehouse tasks while promoting sales initiatives.

The role offers opportunity to upsell, work as part of a team, and learn our HVAC/R product lines and systems. A high school diploma and one year of customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably HVAC/R industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.
• Excellent customer service, active listening and problem-solving.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computerized sales and inventory management systems.
• Positive attitude, willing to learn, team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift operation may be required; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with expert advice and recommendations to find HVAC/R products and supplies.
• Process customer orders accurately, ensuring availability, pricing, and invoicing.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, specifications, compatibility, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish floor stock; conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting technical HVAC/R issues.
• Promote sales initiatives and upsell products when appropriate.
• Provide warehouse support including receiving, inspecting, and stocking merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and product organization.
