Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, Houston, a leading HVAC distributor, seeks a Branch Counter Sales Associate to serve customers, process sales, and support operations. You will advise on HVAC/R products, handle orders and payments, and maintain inventory while assisting with technical questions and safety compliance.

The role involves stock management, documentation, and occasional travel for training or meetings. Prior retail leadership and strong customer relations skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Customer Service.
• Leadership roles with profit and loss responsibility preferred.
• Experience leading people in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly grow sales in retail.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience using customer, market, and competitor data to make informed decisions and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in finding HVAC/R products and supplies.
• Process customer orders accurately and handle payments.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, specs, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish stock on the sales floor; report discrepancies.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep the counter area organized.
• Complete paperwork for transactions including invoices, returns, and warranties.
• Travel occasionally for training, meetings, or work-related activities.
