Job summary

Trane Technologies in Charleston, SC is hiring a Controls Project Manager responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of HVAC/BAS projects. You’ll lead the project team, coordinate with technicians and subcontractors, and serve as the primary contact for stakeholders.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Construction PM, or at least 3 years of HVAC/BAS project experience; experience leading

Qualifications

• Combination of degree or minimum 3 years’ experience in HVAC / BAS Controls and Project Management.
• Experience leading teams with varied technical skills.
• Strong resource and schedule planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive communication and action plans.
• Review contracts to identify risk and mitigation strategies.
• Manage project financials including cash flow, forecasts, and cost control.
• Oversee subcontractor RFQ processes and subcontractor management.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors on plans, schedules and submittals.
• Lead change order management and collaborate with sales/estimation as needed.
• Oversee project administration, safety guidelines, and documentation.
