Job summary

Trane Technologies in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Senior Energy Services Project Manager to lead diverse HVAC/BAS projects from scope through completion. You will manage project financials, administration, and customer satisfaction, acting as the main liaison with stakeholders and coordinating a team of technicians and subcontractors.

The role demands 7–10 years of relevant experience, an engineering or construction PM degree, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Building Automation or Construction Project Management Degree is preferred.
• 7-10 years’ experience in HVAC / BAS Controls and Project Management leading teams with diverse skills.
• Efficient resource / manpower planning.
• Experience working with building owners as a third-tier contractor is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating project status.
• Review contract documents to identify risk and develop mitigation plans.
• Financially manage all project aspects including cash flow, forecasts, and backlog reconciliation.
• Oversee subcontractor RFQ process, awards, and execution.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to establish task schedules and submittals.
• Lead change order management and coordinate with sales/estimating as needed.
• Lead project administration including schedules, compliance, documentation, and safety.
