Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Controls Project Manager to lead project financials and stakeholder communications for a portfolio of HVAC/controls projects in Bellevue, WA. You’ll coordinate with technicians and subcontractors, manage change orders, and ensure contract compliance while safeguarding schedule, cost, and scope.

The role emphasizes leadership of project teams, risk mitigation, and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management degree a plus.
• Combination of degree or minimum 3 years’ experience in HVAC/BAS Controls and Project Management.
• Efficient at resource/manpower planning.
• Familiarity with third-tier contractors and working with building owners is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean record in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and communicating status.
• Review contracts to identify risk and mitigation plans.
• Financially manage projects: cash flow, forecasts, costs, and backlog.
• Oversee subcontractor RFQ, awards, and execution.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors on schedules and submittals.
• Lead change orders with sales/estimation support.
• Manage project administration, scope, cost, schedule, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
