Kelso Building Services seeks an HVAC Assistant Project Manager to work with seasoned project leaders on commercial and industrial HVAC projects. You will gain hands-on experience, manage records, assist in budgeting, and coordinate schedules while upholding safety standards and quality objectives.

The role offers growth opportunities, a collaborative team environment, and exposure to project lifecycle activities from pre-construction through closeout.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting construction, mechanical or HVAC projects or a related degree.
• Understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC systems and installation practices.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement and contract administration.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Project Manager across all phases of HVAC construction projects.
• Maintain project records: contracts, drawings, submittals, permits and correspondence.
• Assist with estimating handoff, kickoff meetings and information transfer to operations.
• Monitor costs, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate schedules with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors and customers.
• Prepare subcontract agreements, purchase orders and procurement docs.
• Review equipment and material submittals for compliance.
• Generate RFIs and other project communications.
• Evaluate change orders and scope modifications.
• Coordinate with accounting to reconcile invoices and costs.
• Serve as contact for subcontractors and suppliers on scheduling & performance.
• Support field teams in securing labor, equipment, and materials.
• Promote safety, quality standards and project objectives.
• Attend site meetings and provide project status updates.
