Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time 3rd Year HVAC Apprentice in Maple Grove, MN. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, and boilers.

Responsibilities include driving to sites, recording data, and communicating with customers while advancing your trade through on-the-job and regional training. Minimum qualifications include union acceptance for 3rd year status, a high school diploma or GED, an

Qualifications

• 3rd year Apprentice accepted by the union.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support.
• Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, water source heat pumps, AHUs, chillers, and boilers.
• Drive company vehicle and manage inventory of tools and materials for job completion.
• Record billing, timecards, and reports in a timely manner.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in available training and maintain required certifications.
