Job summary

Daikin Applied in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a full-time HVAC Pre-Apprentice to assist in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment onsite. You will work with Journeymen and Foremen, drive to jobs as needed, and support billing, inventory, and reporting while expanding your certifications.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and HVAC certificate or equivalent, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Local license/training as required by law district.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and related components.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports promptly.
• Travel to job sites in company vehicle and manage hand tools and materials.
• Maintain safety policies and wear PPE and PPE compliance.
