Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Pre-Apprentice for on-site work in Maple Grove, MN. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and water source heat pumps, under supervision of Journeyman and Foreman. Expected hourly rate is $20.00–$23.00.

Training and safety programs, including OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid, are provided. Pre-employment checks and safety requirements apply; local licensing as required by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; HVAC training preferred.
• Technical HVAC certificate or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; local licensing as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handling units.
• Assist in rebuilding HVAC units and perform routine service under the direction of Journeyman and Foreman.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other service-related data in a timely manner; basic data entry.
