Job summary

Daikin Applied in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a full-time HVAC Pre-Apprentice to assist in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and more.

You will work alongside Journeyman and Foreman, help transport tools, perform basic data entry, and communicate with customers about service status. On-the-job training and safety guidelines are emphasized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
HVAC certificate from a technical school or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Work authorization not available for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment on commercial systems.
Support in preventive maintenance and testing of systems.
Assist in rebuilding HVAC units under supervision of Journeyman/Foreman.
Transport tools and materials to job sites; drive company vehicle if required.
Record billing, inventory, timecards, and service reports accurately.
Maintain professionalism and communicate status to customers before, during, and after service.
