Job summary

Daikin Applied Ltd. is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial systems in Maple Grove and surrounding areas. You will service rooftops, chillers, water source heat pumps, and air handling units, ensuring reliability and safety.

The role requires 5+ years of experience or 7+ in related fields, a valid driver's license, and union journeyman status. It includes emergency call rotations and OSHA 10 training during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accepted as Journeyman by the union.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical HVAC certificate or equivalent training.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support and OSHA 10 within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Inspect, test, and verify functionality of chillers, rooftops, boilers, and related systems.
• Lead apprentices during rebuilds and retrofits with hands-on demonstrations.
• Record billing, timecards, inventory, and service reports promptly.
• Download programs and analyze trend data to optimize performance.
