Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Pre-Apprentice in Maple Grove, MN. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, from rooftops to boilers, under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical HVAC certificate or equivalent training.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (training provided).
• Current First Aid / CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Assist in rebuilding HVAC units under guidance of Journeyman and Foreman.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and related items promptly.
• Interact with customers and provide status updates before, during, and after service calls.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
