Job summary

Carrier Rentals is seeking an Applications & Projects Engineer to help customers solve temperature control and power generation challenges. You will design tailored rental solutions, develop system designs, and prepare technical documentation. Work with sales, operations, and customers to evaluate requirements, select equipment, and ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• 1+ years HVAC experience.
• 1+ years with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• 1+ years reading mechanical/electrical blueprints and control system docs.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of current and legacy rental systems products.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to support rental applications.
• Analyze engineering specs to ensure equipment meets cooling/heating/electrical needs.
• Develop project proposals based on customer needs and provide design assistance.
• Prepare engineering specifications and technical documentation for rental systems.
• Generate RFQ documents and secure bid proposals for equipment.
