Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Development Engineer to drive HVAC/BMS upgrade projects, spanning site assessments, energy and cost-benefit analyses, and design-build execution. You will collaborate with Sales Managers, Area Managers, and Sellers to align with growth objectives.

Responsibilities include pre-sale technical support, detailed energy analyses, and developing retrofit solutions, with travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of HVAC contracting and/or HVAC design engineering experience.
• Strong ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency in energy modeling, data analysis, and cost/savings studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sale technical and engineering support for retrofit solutions.
• Conduct site assessments, analyze energy bills, perform load calculations, and identify savings opportunities.
• Develop HVAC systems and solutions and lead scope/concept development.
• Estimate lifecycle cost and ROI; collaborate with sales and project teams to expand retrofit scope.
• Lead site visits, energy assessments, and utility rebate discussions; ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
