Job summary

Carrier Rentals is seeking an Applications & Projects Engineer to design tailored cooling, heating, and power solutions for commercial and industrial rental systems. You will partner with sales, operations, and customers to evaluate requirements and develop optimized rental designs, equipment selections, and technical documentation.

You will lead with engineering knowledge to support project lifecycles, provide expert technical assistance, and ensure successful project execution across teams.

Qualifications

3+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
1+ years of HVAC systems experience.
1+ years of reading mechanical/electrical blueprints, schematics, and control docs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain expert knowledge of current and legacy rental systems products.
Collaborate with sales and customers to support rental applications.
Analyze engineering specs to ensure equipment meets customer cooling, heating, and electrical needs.
Develop project proposals based on customer needs and provide design assistance.
Prepare engineering specs and technical documentation for rental systems.
