Job summary

Ambient is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Application Engineer focused on pre-sale activities to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with the sales team, engineers and clients to provide technical expertise in design, selection and estimation of HVAC systems and equipment for our Key Ambient Partner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/HVAC engineering.
• 5+ years HVAC engineering with pre-sale focus.
• Strong HVAC knowledge incl. heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning.
• Knowledge of energy codes and building regs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pre-Sales Support & Technical Consultation with sales and clients.
• Perform detailed estimation of HVAC system costs and prepare proposals.
• Design and select HVAC systems, sizing and configuration per specs.
• Prepare scope of work documents and ensure accuracy in proposals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Operations, and Sales throughout the process.
