Job summary

Ambient Enterprises in Las Vegas seeks an experienced HVAC sales engineer to drive revenue by applying engineered HVAC solutions across commercial projects. You will collaborate with contractors, consulting engineers, architects, and end users from concept to commissioning, translating complex thermal and air-handling requirements into practical equipment selections.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in applied HVAC engineering, technical sales, or mechanical systems design in commercial/industrial markets.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems including air handlers, rooftops, chillers, boilers, VAV, energy recovery, and building automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals: psychrometrics, airflow, heat transfer, refrigeration cycles, hydronic design.
• Familiarity with IMC, ASHRAE standards, energy codes and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share in assigned territories.
• Analyze project plans and specs to identify opportunities for system optimization and equipment application.
• Provide engineered equipment selections based on project requirements and calculations.
• Support HVAC system design including VAV, RTUs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, and building automation integration.
• Prepare technical proposals with schematics, psychrometric analyses, and value-engineered options.
• Track project pipelines and forecasting using CRM tools.
• Stay current with HVAC technologies, ASHRAE standards, and energy efficiency requirements.
