Job summary

Johnson Controls in York is seeking an Engineer III within the BE, AirSide Engineering Team. The role covers AHU design and application, applying standard techniques to a full range of engineering tasks.

The Engineer III will guide designers, mentor junior engineers, and ensure quality through documentation and design reviews. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET) and 2–3 years of related experience are required, with strong CAD skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or related science or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work under general supervision and follow defined processes.
• Collaborate to determine best techniques for analysis, design or research of mechanical equipment in HVAC.
• Prepare, check, and coordinate release of documentation to support AHU component design.
