Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an Engineer III to support AHU design and application within the BE, AirSide Engineering Team. You will perform a full range of engineering tasks using standard techniques and collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable mechanical equipment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or related science.
• 2–3 years’ experience in related field.
• Proficiency with business principles for the business unit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks following standard techniques and procedures.
• Design and apply HVAC AHU components and analyses.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on project work.
• Coordinate design documentation and release for AHU components.
• Analyze design requirements and propose manufacturability improvements.
• Present status and progress to project teams.
