Johnson Controls is seeking a Design Specialist Contract Engineer in York, PA to process BOMs and drawings for production release of large commercial air handling units. You will develop solutions, support sales teams, and prepare detailed CAD drawings using Inventor or similar software.

The role requires an Associate's degree in engineering and 3D modeling experience, with office-based work in York, PA. HVAC knowledge and sheet metal design experience are highly valued, with travel up to 10%.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in engineering (ME, MET, or EMET preferred).
• 3D modeling experience and ability to produce models/drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Willingness to work in York, PA daily in office.
• Proficiency with Inventor or comparable 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge of HVAC fundamentals beneficial.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Sheet metal design experience.

Mansioni

• Process engineering bills of materials and drawings for production release.
• Provide engineering support including hands-on construction and testing.
• Develop approaches to solutions and lead process improvements.
• Support application and sales teams with guidance and requests.
• Prepare drawings of parts and assemblies with proper scales and views.

• Review project specs to ensure conformance of design and fabrication.
• Train less experienced drafters and review their work.
