Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mid-level engineering on complex electric transmission design projects for HV overhead systems. You will support line routing, PLS-CADD modeling, and design reviews.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 4+ years of transmission line experience, and be able to work in a hybrid Lake Mary, FL environment with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification (preferred).
• 4+ years of related transmission line engineering experience in electric utility.
• Experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design.
• Familiar with NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI.
• Ability to liaise stakeholders across subs, transmission, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve PLS-CADD criteria.
• Schedule project tasks for project support team.
• Attend client stakeholder meetings.
• Complete design review meetings with the client.
• Attend internal design review meetings.

NESC/IEEE/ASCE/ACI knowledge
