Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mid-level engineering on complex electric transmission design projects for high-voltage overhead systems. You will prepare, review and guide line routing, survey coordination, PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, clearance checks, and related procurements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 4+ years of transmission line experience, PLS-CADD proficiency, and knowledge of NESC/IEEE/ASCE/ACI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering is required
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred
• 4+ years of transmission line engineering experience is required
• Experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design is required
• Experience with design codes and standards such as NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI
• Experience liaising with substation, transmission, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance stakeholders
• Demonstrated engineering theory/principles application and problem solving
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and ability to work safely
