Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mid-level engineering on complex HV transmission design projects from our Raleigh, NC office. The role includes preparing and guiding line routing, surveys, PLS-CADD modeling, structure design, foundations, and procurement.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering, 4+ years in transmission line engineering, PLS-CADD experience, and knowledge of NESC/IEEE/ASCE/ACI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering (required).
• 4+ years of transmission line engineering in the electric utility industry (required).
• Experience using PLS-CADD for transmission lines (required).
• Knowledge of NESC, IEEE, ASCE and ACI standards.
• PE license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve PLS-CADD criteria.
• Schedule project tasks for the project support team.
• Attend client stakeholder meetings.
• Complete design review meetings with the client.
• Attend internal design review meetings.
