Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mid-level engineering expertise on complex high-voltage transmission design projects. You will prepare, review, and guide line routing, survey coordination, PLS-CADD modeling, and construction support for HV overhead systems.

Key responsibilities include design reviews with clients, task scheduling for the team, and coordinating with stakeholders across substation, real estate, environmental, and construction domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering required.
• PE certification preferred.
• 4+ years of transmission line engineering experience in electric utility.
• Experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design.
• Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI codes and standards.
• Experience coordinating with substation, transmission, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance stakeholders.
• Ability to apply engineering principles and present technical information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve PLS-CADD Criteria.
• Schedule project tasks for the project support team.
• Attend client stakeholder meetings.
• Complete design review meetings with the client.
• Attend internal design review meetings.
