Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide senior engineering expertise on complex HV and EHV overhead transmission projects. The role involves line routing, PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, and cross-disciplinary coordination.

The candidate should have a PE license, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and 8+ years of transmission experience. This is a hybrid position based in Huntersville, NC, offering growth and engagement in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's in Engineering and PE certification.
• 8+ years of transmission line engineering experience in electric utility.
• Experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design.
• Strong familiarity with design codes and standards: NESC, IEEE, ASCE, ACI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve PLS-CADD criteria.
• Schedule project tasks for project support team.
• Attend client stakeholder meetings.
• Complete design review meetings with the client.
• Mentor/train other engineering team members.
• Attend internal design review meetings.
