Job summary

Hyosung HICO in Memphis, TN seeks a Test Lab Supervisor to oversee finished product testing of high-voltage transformers and supervise in-process testing as needed. The role includes training personnel, maintaining equipment and facilities, and coordinating with production to meet delivery timelines.

The supervisor will lead data collection, ensure conformance to requirements, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong customer relations and safety standards.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in technical or business field with 3-5 years' electrical testing experience.
Experience supervising teams to meet production schedules.
General knowledge of electrical power systems.
Familiar with inspection tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Apply quality assurance and manufacturing procedures to the test operation.
Supervise test personnel and maintain schedules.
Coordinate with production to meet deadlines (daily/weekly/monthly).
Lead test data collection and reporting of performance metrics.
Train and develop test lab inspectors and staff.
Ensure safety practices and 6S adherence in the lab.
